The Journey So Far

Birth & Education
Pushpesh was born on 8 January 1980 in Dairi village of Dwarahat, Uttarakhand. His primary education started from his native village, Dairi, and after that he went to Nainital to pursue higher education, where he graduated in MSc Botany. He also did a 6 month diploma course in Geographic Imaging System from Indian Remote Sensing Institute, Dehradun.
Road to Politics
He was active in Uttarakhand state movement since his student days in which he made a significant contribution by actively participating in Pauri Commissioner Gherao, Nainital Commissioner Gherao, Jail Bharo movement. He was elected as MLA from Dwarahat assembly constituency after the sudden death of his father Late Shri Vipin Chandra Tripathi in 2005.​
Political Journey
In view of his development, the people of the region elected him again as MLA in 2007. From the year 2007 to the year 2015, he conducted several developmental works under his legislative tenure and solved the major problems of the area. He worked on the major development works in the area like drinking water, health, and roads.
Along with this, he also did commendable work in the field of education, about a dozen schools were approved by him, ITI was approved in Masi, degree college was approved in Tehsil Chaukhutia. Out of which many such schemes are still under construction. The agriculture market was sanctioned by him in block Chaukhutia for the economic development of the farmers of the Dwarahat assembly area and the entire Uttarakhand hill region.
He visited all the areas of his constituency, whether it was accessible or inaccessible, all the roads, villages and went door to door listening to public problems and redressing them. Even today, he is directly or indirectly connected to the public by making this order. Because of this, his image in the public is that of a clean, simplistic and compulsive practical leader. He has brought the dream of Uttarakhand development of his father, Late Shri Vipin Chandra Tripathi, into the ground and has transformed his principles into practicality.
